Animal adoption is a fantastic and unique gift for people of any age!

What you get

• A personalised adoption certificate
• One free entry ticket to the Zoo to visit the adopted animal (one for each animal share purchased, up to a maximum of 10 tickets)
• An animal fact sheet
• Free Zoo magazines, a badge and sticker
• And the adopter's name is displayed in the Zoo

How it helps

Animal adoption helps wildlife by contributing towards the upkeep of the animals at the Zoo. This in turn helps the Zoo undertake conservation work in the UK and overseas. Looking after the animals costs over £1.5 million a year and as a charity we rely on visitors and supporters to help our work.

How it works

You can choose from any of the animals at the Zoo. Adoption starts at £30 which represents one share. You can also adopt multiple shares of £30 each or a whole animal. Please see the list for whole animal prices. Your adoption applies to the animal species, not an individual animal, and if animals move from the Zoo or die during the year we will notify you and transfer your adoption to another animal species. Please allow up to 14 days for delivery of the pack.
